Meet Shelee

I grew up on the north coast of New South Wales with the beach as my playground and the perfect backdrop to spark a lifelong love of colour. Life eventually carried me up to Central Queensland, where I now live opposite the Keppel Islands, a place that still feeds my creative soul every single day.

I’m a mum of three loud, brilliant humans who make painting time a rare luxury, but watching their creativity grow is just as rewarding as finishing a new piece. I started as a charcoal-obsessed teen, selling a few early works to a café and hair salon. When we moved north, something shifted: confidence, ambition, and a determination to make art part of my everyday life.

Joining the local gallery taught me that my style was a bit different, unique in a way I couldn’t quite explain, and discovering fluid art sealed the deal. Its organic, free-flowing movement brings me calm, keeps me curious, and reminds me that beauty often comes from letting go. That is the heart of Sheleeart: creativity with courage, colour with soul, and a whole lot of trust in the process.

Art has carried me through tough days, lifted me on good ones, and built a community I am incredibly grateful for. That is why Sheleeart exists: to help others find their creativity, their calm, their confidence, and of course, their Bloom.

Shelee might not love the mess, but she knows the magic happens when the chemistry kicks in. Every bloom is a blend of precision, patience, and pure creative flow, proof that beauty can come from both science and soul.

We’re fussy in the best way. If we wouldn’t use it in our own studio, it doesn’t make the shelf. Simple as that.
